Max Thian shared his terrifying experience of being duped by an online friend to visit Bangkok, and forced to work as a scammer in Myanmar.

Following his rescue and return to Malaysia, he shared the modus operandi of the scammers in a press conference organized by Petaling Jaya MP Lee Chean Chung.

Lee also made two recommendations to prevent Malaysians from being trafficked.
