今日（9月8日）是二十四節氣之一「白露」之始，顧名思義，就是看到露珠之時。《月令七十二候集解》說：「白露，八月節。秋屬金，金色白，陰氣漸重，露凝而白也」，意指天氣漸涼，空氣中的水份入夜後開始凝結在較涼的地面和植物上，到清晨便看見晶瑩剔透的「秋露」。
