【本報訊】在酷熱的石屎森林中又少了兩棵好遮蔭的大樹。香港大學鄧志昂樓前兩棵逾80年樹齡的細葉榕，地政總署報告認為其健康差，令樹和下方石牆有倒塌風險須移除，政府前日起通宵斬樹。惟大樹被鋸後，昨經專家檢查發現樹橫切面良好，認為樹的健康根本無問題；多名專家質疑政府報告太粗疏，沒有以科學理據證明老樹的倒塌風險。
