公账会表明要重查一马公司案后，前首相纳吉表明不会反对此事，“因为我们要寻找真相。”
不过，纳吉也在国会走廊受询时为自己辩护，“以前的公账会已经做出结论，说我当首相和财长时并没有舞弊。这是以前的公账会确认的。”
此外纳吉认为，希望联盟政府如今应该关注的是如何发展经济，而不是追究过去的错误。
“别只是寻找错误而已，现在他们（希盟）受委托发展国家，所以他们理应专注发展国家并寻找新的收入。”
