深水埗一間7-11便利店去年亦發生店員被人用刀刺傷事件，一名無業漢與男店員口角後，叫店員舔生果刀，又挑釁「夠膽就行出嚟」，惟店員均沒理會。他及後於店外埋伏，乘店員步出時用刀捅其腹部，幸好店員及時避開，肚皮僅輕微擦傷。無業漢昨於區院認罪，律師求情時形容前日便利店店員遇刺危殆是令人髮指，但本案被告則「適可而止」。
