柔佛王储东姑依斯迈认为，柔佛不属于马来西亚，而是组成大马的伙伴，因此不应该由联邦政府决定该州命运。

东姑依斯迈昨天在教育城体育中心举办的柔佛青年计划播客节目中指出，柔州每年上缴约480亿至490亿令吉税收予联邦政府，但仅获得14亿发展拨款，这笔资金无法惠及所有州民。

他还反问，"柔佛要沦为乞丐到什么时候？"
