柔佛国盟州政权不稳的传言甚嚣尘上之际，柔佛苏丹依布拉欣警告，“如果再有议员争权，我将马上解散柔州议会。”
苏丹依布拉欣在面子书批评一些领袖是权力狂，顾着争夺权利。
“人民现在已在受苦，他们完全不管，继续加重人民负担。我不容看见我的子民受苦，也不愿我的州被丢置一旁。”
苏丹表示，如果柔佛人民有机会重新投选新的州议员，他希望能够选出真心为民服务而不是只顾政党或自己的议员。
