Sessions judge M. Vijayalakshmi acquitted Nepalese woman Nirmala Thapa, 25, to an abortion charge after the prosecution failed to prove prima facie for the charge under Section 315 of the Penal Code for aborting in a government-approved clinic in Taman Ciku, Bukit Mertajam on October 9 last year.
