中秋是人月兩團圓的日子，但往往造成環保災難。綠色力量調查推算，去年中秋節全港256萬個家庭合共丟棄97萬個月餅，雖是有紀錄以來15年新低，但含有毒化學成份的螢光棒，棄置量則達3,000萬支，平均每個家庭丟棄46.7支。團體呼籲不再使用螢光棒作慶節物品，並應選購環保節約的月餅。
