不少人誤解要減少行樓梯以保護雙膝關節,亞洲運動及體適能專業學院(AASFP)課程總監兼物理治療師周錦浩表示,行梯級其實能鍛煉大腿肌肉,有助穩定膝關節,預防膝痛問題。熱愛運動人士,如短跑運動員、跑山人士,行樓梯或跑樓梯不但可鍛煉肌肉,更可提升心肺功能,特別是一些撐腳、蹬腿等動作,只要正確進行及按部就班,就可以達到一定效果。在安全的樓梯間,或在家用穩固的凳,都可訓練。要留意若在樓梯做訓練,最好揀選空氣流通、光線充足、環境和梯級夠闊落。
