上落樓梯或斜坡時腳軟兼腳震,可能反映腿部、臀部肌肉力量不足。中國香港體適能總會行政總監、物理治療師黃永森表示,大腿前方肌肉、臀部肌肉力量足夠,可保護髖膝關節。惟都市人缺乏運動,加上下肢關節若曾有傷患,都會影響髖膝關節健康。
少運動的市民,可嘗試腿力測試,方法是站在起跳線後,蹲腿揮臂,盡力向前跳,然後平穩着地,量度所跳的最遠距離。成年人男士跳遠距離超過200厘米,女士超過160厘米為合格,代表大腿肌肉力量足夠。平日多進行下肢鍛煉,對改善髖膝關節健康都有幫助。
