华淡小4年级的国文课本，从明年开始将有爪夷书法教学一事，过去两个星期闹得沸沸扬扬。
内阁在昨天终于定夺，将有关内容的原本的6页缩减到3页，并且交予各校老师决定如何教学。
关于非穆斯林社会对于学习爪夷书法出现强烈的情绪反弹，玻璃市宗教司阿斯里最近在一场宣道会中也有提及。
他表示，马来人本身也应该认清，学习爪夷书法是一项文化传承。如果连马来人也认为这是一项捍卫宗教的政策，这就会合理化了国内非穆斯林的情绪反弹。
