马华和国大党早前否认国阵议决要求召开国会。巫统最高理事达祖丁受询时回应，马华和国大党可能没有被巫统邀请协商，而有所不满，但两党始终没有离开巫统，否则马华和国大党，要去哪儿呢？
达祖丁在记者会上说，“主席都说现在没事了，魏家祥都说会跟国阵在一起，对吗？国大党也说会跟国阵在一起。他们要去哪儿呢？国大党和马华要去哪儿呢？要脱离巫统吗？对吧？这些小事情，都可以解决，不是大问题。只是媒体在渲染。”
他还说，“这个讨论不讨论的，以前很多事没讨论都没问题。”
