希望联盟致函选委会以求确认能否以公正党旗帜上阵，但选委会却回复没空接见，引来希盟总裁马哈迪昨天质疑，选委会将在最后时刻才禁止希盟以蓝眼旗帜上阵。
马哈迪在宣读选委会的回函后表示，社团注册局在看守首相纳吉宣布解散国会前一天查禁团结党的做法后，当局有可能故伎重施为难希盟。
“我们必须等，可能会在我们提名时的前3秒才回复我们，就好象他对付团结党那样。”
