Shirtless moments, random make outs, and exclusive sneak peeks were just some of the highlights from the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, but we're going to break down a little bit of everything just in case you haven't been able to watch it just yet. Thanks so much for keeping it here at Clevver's Trophy Life, where we're giving you not one, not two, but 12 of the best moments from the MTV Movie Awards -- starting off with number 12.
This one technically came before the show even started, but Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort were on hand to present a sneak peek from their upcoming movie, The Fault In Our Stars. The clip was a pretty iconic moment from the book -- it's basically when Hazel and Gus meet for the first time outside the "literal heart of Jesus" -- and we have to admit we completely fangirled. Is it June 6 yet?!
Coming in at number 11 was Mark Wahlberg winning his Generation award. Despite a few f-bombs, Mark hilariously joked about his career being over now that he got the 'old people's' award. In addition to graciously thanking his family, friends and fans, Mark also recognized how his one-hit rapping career shaped him into who he is today. Take note people -- that humbleness is how a REAL star acts!
Number 10 was Ellie Goulding and Zedd's performance of "Find You." You know we're HUGE Divergent fans, so seeing this song from the movie's soundtrack being performed live on stage was definitely a treat. Plus, collaborators Matthew Koma and Miriam Bryant slayed their parts, too!
We're killing two birds with one stone for our number nine spot, since Jonah Hill made us LOL during two different moments. First, his acceptance speech for Best Comedic Performance for The Wolf of Wall Street was adorable as he praised Leonardo DiCaprio only further proving how cute their bromance is. And speaking of bromance, Jonah gave out the Trailblazer award to his pal Channing Tatum, and joked about how it must have been really hard for someone that handsome to become a movie star. Touche, Jonah, touché,
Coming in at number eight on our list? Conan's Geek Squad skit with the cast of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The basic gist is Conan was helping Andrew try to remember his password so they could watch an exclusive clip from their upcoming movie, and after a few British-inspired guesses, Andrew finally remembered his password -- Harry Styles Makes Me Smiles. Same, Andrew. Same.
Moving on to number seven, can we just discuss Eminem and Rihanna's performance? The duo performed their smash hit "Monster" for the first time live at the MTV Movie Awards and if we didn't want to attend their tour before, we sure do now. There was so much hype leading up to the performance and seeing as the crowd was buzzing long after it ended, it's safe to say they did not disappoint.
Alright number six -- Channing Tatum picking up the Trailblazer award. Between Magic Mike, 21 Jump Street, Magic Mike, and everything else, the world has been having a love affair with him for quite some time now, so this award was certainly well-deserved. In addition to cute intros from Mila Kunis and Jonah Hill, Jonah said really nice things about his buddy "Chan." And Tatum was super humble, charming and even a little nervous during his speech which made it all the more endearing.
We're shifting gears a little bit because coming in at number five is the moving and emotional tribute to Paul Walker. The Fast and Furious star tragically passed away last November, and actors including Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster helped honor Paul Walker's legacy with a beautiful tribute that made everyone watching understandably emotional. In addition to showcasing his movie roles, the tribute also highlighted Paul's humor, kindness and philanthropic efforts. ...
