20 thousand gallons of icky green slime and all of Hollywood A listers made the 2014 Kids Choice Awards the funnest show ever! But if you didn't catch the live telecast- it's all good in the hood! Clevver's Trophy Life has got the top 7 highlights of this year's KCAs right here!
7) Austin Mahone and Cody Simpson both getting slimed! We definitely expected at least one of them to get covered in goo since they spent the whole show asking the audience to vote on which one of the 2 heart throbs should get slimed. But Nickelodeon fans were in for a treat because why pick one when you can slime 'em both. Well done KCAs.
#6) How adorable was it seeing Ross Lynch win the Kids Choice Award for favorite TV actor for Austin & Ally! Of course he's our fave! He can sing, dance, act, play the guitar, and make us all swoon. He was elated to win and you could tell how thankful he really was.
#5) Do you guys know who Aloe Blacc is? Of course you do, because he killed it at the KCAs! Celebrities and fans alike bobbed their heads while he sang Avicii's "Wake Me Up" which if ya didn't know, he's the voice behind the smash hit. Then he sang I'm the Man" and was joined with a children's choir. So. Epic.
Speaking of epic, the man behind literally the very biggest shows on Nickelodeon was given the highest honor of the night! Dan Schneider was bestowed with a Lifetime Achievement Award and some of the stars from Drake & Josh, Sam and Cat, Victorious, and iCarly congratulated Dan for making their careers. Kenan Thompson from Kenan and kel sent in a video message and Kel actually showed up to give him some love in person. What a trip down memory lane.

Speaking of memory lane, Ariana Grande's purse was a throwback to all the awesome Nickelodeon cartoons from back in the day. But aside from her killer 90s themed clutch which I now must find on ebay- one of the best moments of the night was seeing the Victorious star take home the orange blimp for favorite TV actress. For which she got very emotional. Group hug everyone.
#2 on our list of highlights was seeing what we knew was going to happen all along, but didn't realize how much fun it would actually be to watch, and that was seeing super grown up Mark Wahlberg BATHED and I mean bathed people in Nicki's infamous green slime. I can't even imagine how one goes about getting all that green liquid from out your ears and belly button but, um, good luck Mark. Might take months. Oh, and can we just saw how cute it was that his own kids were the one pulling the slime trigger? Genius.
And the #1 very best highlight of the night was Selena Gomez's heartfelt speech after winning favorite female singer. Home girl was near tears as she told her fans: "you continuously, every year, bless me with the opportunity to do what I love, so thank you so much." I swear the tissue was flowin over here at Clevver. Congrats Sel. You deserve that award.
