Jennette McCurdy's "No Show" at Kids' Choice Awards 2014 Explained

Jennette McCurdy was absent from the 27th annual Kids' Choice Awards over the weekend, and she's finally opening up as to why she was a no show. Now, a lot of people assumed that those leaked photos of her might have been the reason as to skipping the KCAs, but there seems to be a little bit more to it than that. Taking to Twitter, the Sam & Cat star wrote:
"A lot of you guys are asking why I didn't attend the KCAs.... I wish I could explain everything as thoroughly as I would like to, but unfortunately a simpler explanation is all I can write. I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me. I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is ALWAYS the most important thing. I want to thank those of you who have reached out with kind words of support, McCurdians and Arianators alike. No matter who or what you support, I believe in supporting fairness first. If you have done that, thank you."

She then followed that message up with a couple other tweets that read "My previous tweet has nothing to do with pics leaked.oh you guys lol" and 'It has to do with how nickelodeon treated me. That's all. Thanks for the love.
Now, we're still not 100% sure about all the details, but many people think it has something to do with Sam & Cat's pretty much inevitable cancellation. And obviously it has SOMETHING to do with the network, but fans were also tweeting jennette asking why she unfollowed Ariana Grande on Twitter.
