Jennette McCurdy Calls Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson a "Great Fit"

Jennette McCurdy is putting her rocky relationship with Ariana Grande behind and is wishing her the best on her engagement.
So they’ve had some drama over the years, but Jennette couldn’t be happier for Ari, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have been overwhelmed with love and support from fans and celebs following their surprise engagement, but one celeb’s reaction managed to surprise us maybe even more than the engagement.
Ari’s Sam & Cat costar Jennette McCurdy opened up to ET on Wednesday sending her utmost support, saying QUOTE, “I'm super proud of her and excited for her. I hope that she's super happy.” Although, just like the rest of us, Jennette was just as surprised as we were about the pair’s rapid engagement. But despite Ari and Pete only confirming the relationship in May, Jennette thinks the pair totally make sense. She said QUOTE, “They seem like they're a great fit. From what I know of her, he seems like exactly a good person for her.”
Jennette also mentioned Pete is definitely Ariana’s type noting one trait in particular: his tattoos. She said, “Tattoos! She always likes the tattoos. And humor, of course.” Seems like a match made in Heaven!
Despite these super sweet comments, the two haven’t always gotten along. While Ariana never commented publicly on the relationship with her Sam & Cat costar, Jennette’s been pretty vocal about the two’s rocky past. In an interview with E! News back in 2015 Jennette said of working with Ariana that there was QUOTE “…some drama and I think we butted heads at times but in a very sisterly way. She knows me so well, and I know her so well that I think it was unfortunate that things kind of got misconstrued.”
The most obvious sign of the two’s troubled relationship however came in 2014 when Jennette released an episode of her web-series ‘What’s Next for Sarah’ featuring a character named Gloriana. The name wasn’t the only similarity between the two either. The character sported a bunny eared iPhone case and signature Ariana hairstyle. Worst of all was the fact that the character was extremely self-absorbed.

Yikes! But don’t worry Sam & Cat fans based off Jennette’s feelings about the wedding we’re in luck because these two seem like they’re definitely past any hard feelings. Plus, Jennette said she texted her congratulations to Ariana, and when asked if she thought she’d be invited to the wedding she said, QUOTE “I better get one, ya!”
