Newly engaged couple Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got YET another matching tattoo, and we’ll pretend to be surprised.
Come on, you guys… you had to see this one coming.
Okay, so we can’t lie. The first time we found out that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got matching cloud tattoos on their fingers, we were SHOOK. However, that shock quickly subsided when we found out earlier this month that the couple, who had only been dating for around a month, got engaged.
Of course, nothing can top Ari and Pete’s surprise engagement, but we do have an obligation to let you know that the fiancées have decided to get matching tattoos once again… well, maybe.
In Ariana’s Instagram story, she shared a short video of herself showing off the new ink, which is located on her right hand. The tattoo says, QUOTE, “H2GKMO,” which fans suspect stands for “honest to god knock me out.” While it remains unclear what exactly that phrase means to her, she did include the phrase in a tweet she sent out earlier this month.
The tweet said, QUOTE, “I say ‘honest to god knock me out’ 300 times a day.” In the video clip, it appears she got the tattoo with one of her besties, Courtney Chipolone. Interestingly enough, Pete was tagged in the video as well, which makes us wonder if he got that same tattoo as well.
While it remains unclear whether or not Pete is rocking the “H2GKMO” tattoo too, he did, in fact, get a tattoo in a similar location on that same day. According to his tattoo artist Jon Mesa’s Instagram page, Pete got the word “reborn” on his hand, which was supposedly inspired by Kid Cudi’s new album.
Turns out, it was a busy day for the newly engaged couple. Not only did they hit up a tattoo shop, but they also went furniture shopping for their new apartment!
