The trailer for Jennette McCurdy’s new Netflix show Between debuts and it’s spooky! “Today’s episode of Clevver News Feed is brought to you by Pitch Perfect 2, in theaters May 15th!"
Nickelodeon star Jennette McCurdy layed low after her show Sam and Cat ended but she’s back and better than ever, starring in a new Netflix show titled Between.
Between is about a town called Sleepy Lake that is plagued with a mysterious disease that wipes out everyone older than 21. The show takes on a life of its own when the government quarantines an area, leaving the inhabitants to survive.
In the trailer, McCurdy’s character Wiley Day, is seen holding a baby while 3 men hold rifles and stand guard. This role is quite a departure for the usually comedic McCurdy. She said QUOTE “I felt that Netflix was the perfect platform for my fans and this type of show,”
The show depicts McCurdy forcibly transition into adulthood so it does seem like it’s a transition that her fans will follow. Between‘s first episode airs Thursday, May 21 @ 8:30PM PT!
