Cameron Dallas is bringing his quit wit, comedic antics and killer good looks to the big screen, AKA your TV screens, as he just landed a gig on a brand new reality Netflix TV series starring… himself!
Netflix, meet social media maven, Cameron Dallas, who will soon be taking over your “Top Picks” category all around the world… because, really, have you seen the guy?!
At only 21 years old, Cameron Dallas has seemed to have checked it ALL off his resume, including Calvin Klein modeling, a small feature film, an entire social media takeover, but there’s one thing the Vine star hasn’t yet dabbled in… until now.
It has just been announced that Cameron, who was just ranked as the No. 1 most-engaging digital influencer this week by a video tech and analytics firm, will co-executive produce an unscripted Netlflix original series that will follow the California-native’s life as he continues to build his career in all aspects of fashion, film, and social media.
The series, that has yet to be titled, will feature Cameron at his most raw, hilarious and real moments and will also feature his friends and family, however, it won’t all be sunshine and selfies… It also promises to dive into Cameron’s life behind the cameras, exploring his personal life in great depth, and seeing from the Instagram photo he shared with his 13+ million followers just yesterday, there’s gonna be a whole lotta blood, sweat and tears… The photo shows a beat-up Cameron with blood dripping down his face, and the caption QUOTE, “You think you know... Coming to @netflix soon”, and after witnessing that photo, it’s quite apparent that we actually DON’T know what’s about to go down…
This will be the second Netflix series starring a viral social media star, following the upcoming Miranda Sings comedy Haters Back Off, although there’s no word on a release date quite yet, but hey, it gives us all something to look forward to in the near future.
