And everything last night from the sets, to the choreography to each and every character exceeded our expectations in every way, so kick off those dancing shoes while I attempt to tackle this list.

Kicking things off on a high note (literally), Jessie J slayed the opening number as she made it perfectly clear that Grease was THE word last night. She strutted her stuff through each set, taking El Nino by storm, slaying those vocals and even picking up the original Frenchie and Doody, played by Didi Conn and Barry Pearl, along the way. Take a look:
And we couldn’t be off to a better start, but the show must go on. We were once again wowed as we make our way down the set to the morning announcement with Principal McGee and Blanche, who’s quick wit and one liners couldn’t have been more on point.
Moving right along to Patty Simcox, AKA the bad seed of Rydell according to Rizzo, and the girl we all love to hate, or hate to love, but in our opinion, she didn’t miss a beat the entire show.
Ok, well maybe a few. But speaking of not missing a single beat, we’ve made our way to cheer tryouts when Sandy, played by Julianne Hough, owned her try out, and for once, Patty was speechless.
And according to Principal McGee, if you can’t be an athlete, then be an athletic supporter… ok, well, there are probably better things to be, like a supporting character, because every single character had their shining moment, including one of the pink ladies, Jan, played by Kether Donohue.
