A fire destroyed fifteen houses at Jalan Muda Musa in Kampung Baru this morning.
Thick smoke from the fire, in the heart of the city, was visible from several kilometres away.
Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department operations management chief Ahmad Adli Abdul Rahman said that no one was injured in the fire which started at around 9.30am.
He said the department was summoned at 9.39am and 50 firefighters, with the assistance of people in the locality, brought the fire under control at 10.12am.
