1ST "KYOSHO KUP" - Mini Z & Race Track Debut - Open Class 2WD, 4WD, Drift Highlights | RC ADVENTURES

We all finally were able to gather together this weekend with a myriad of Kyosho Mini-Z's. What an awesome, fun time! If this is your first time visiting my channel, welcome to my RC garage and our mini race track. This film is a highlight reel of a bunch of friends racing tiny cars for the first time.
We have all decided for the winter months and beyond that we wanted to try out the Kyosho Mini'z - the only deal is - WE ARE ALL NEWBiE Drivers, just learning the nuances of these tiny cars. For todays race - we have it as Open class so everyone can participate. AWD, 2WD and all styles of tires are allowed. Competition wise, nothing too serious here other than the hunt for fun! Interestingly enough - the Car who won the day was AWD, and Drift Tires equipped.
All admittedly we are not great drivers and know we have a lot of practice to get some real control and speed.. but THAT is what we have always loved about the hobby. The option to always get better by doing it more.

The race track is made of an industrial carpet underlay rubber compound, and some astroturf that has been all shaped and taped together. The bumpers are hand made, and are constructed mostly of foam and foam board.
The "KYOSHO KUP" Trophy was an idea by my friend Chris Rappel from the YouTube Channel "Scale Town" - and we are hoping to hold races every weekend.
