The 2016 Billboard Music Awards were jam-packed with killer performances, heartfelt tributes and well-deserved winners, but right now we’re breakin’ down the best of the best from the event that started it all tonight: The magenta carpet fashion.
Not only were the performances RED HOT, but if you need a sec to rejuvenate after this killer fashion recap, by all means, be my guest, because HOT DAYUM.
And we figure there’s no point in wasting any time in bringing you 5 of the best dressed from tonight’s Billboard Music Awards, so why not start off strong with the woman who kicked off the evening… Britney Spears comin’ in HOT on our list, and not only did she WERK it in sexy red lingerie during her opening act, but she arrived before the show wearing a revealing black lace one-piece, complete with a matching black train and thigh-high cutout heel boots. Umm, is it just me or does Brit only look better with age?!
And keeping right along with the black lace theme, we have Demi Lovato who rocked an edgy black sheer pant suit, but it’s that black-laced corset top that’s got the people talkin’. She added even more badassery to her outfit with black fingerless gloves and a sleek black clutch that are giving us so much life.
Switching things up, we have Zendaya, who, to nobody’s surprise, looked as flawless as ever in a peach two-piece skirt and crop top outfit, making us all believe that mermaids actually DO exist. She completed her look with matching bright eye makeup and sleek straight hair, but let’s be real here, when has Zendaya EVER let us down on a carpet? Yeah, thought so.
But the BBMA fashion is only getting better, as we have Ariana Grande up next, who’s plunging neckline and revealing deep-slit dress has officially left us at a loss for words. She left her usual elegant ball-gown look at home this time, and stepped out wearing a black and blue cutout dress, and I don’t know about you guys, but Ari seemed to have taken some style inspiration from fashion queen Kendall Jenner’s 2016 Met Gala getup, but hey, I ain’t mad about it.
And last, but most certainly not least, we have ALL five ladies of Fifth Harmony who meant BUSINESS in all black. Each of the girls chose outfits that showcased their own personalities to a tee, with Camila and Normani going for more of an elegant look with floor-length gowns, Lauren and Ally rocking sexy black lace and Dinah Jane opted for a stunning white and gold beaded touch on top of her sophisticated skin-tight dress.
So was I right or was I right?
