NOTHING beats the freedom, views, adventure and silence when it comes to hot air balloons.More than 20 hot air balloons from 14 countries brighten Putrajaya's sky during the PutrajayaInternational Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2015 from March 12 to 15 at Monument AlafBaru at Precinct 2, some of them for the first time — such as the Vincent Van Gogh balloon which bears the likeness of the famous Dutch artist.Other interesting balloons included a penguin-shaped one in Hawaiian attire, Humpty Dumpty and a bright green frog.
There was also a bazaar area with clothing and accessories by KL Calling, ‘Balloon and Breakfast’ sets where visitors brought along a picnic mat and enjoyed the view with food and Doof beanbags, as well as the Night Glow event (where hot air balloons fly at night with their colours illuminated by their burners) with fireworks which took place over two nights.A lot of visitors also visited the Cold Inflation, where they walked inside a gigantic hot air balloon and met the balloonists. The Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta has something for everyone.
