From 5SOS to Katy Perry to Miley to a HOLOGRAM MICHAEL JACKSON, yes, you heard me right, --- it's safe to say tonight's Billboard Music Awards was basically the best concert ever. Welcome back to Trophy Life on Clevver where we break down the latest in all things award shows! Now I was going to break down the best AND worst performances of the night but let's be honest, all of these performers were AMAZING so I'm just going to run down my top 9 faves from the night --- LET'S GO. Disclaimer -- these are in no particular order.
9 -- IGGY FEAT CHARLIE XCX
So am I the only one who became officially OBSESSED with Iggy Azalea after hearing Fancy for the first time. The rapper rocked out to her the hit song and as if her sassy rapping wasn't enough, she brought out up and comer Charlie XCX to join the fun --- oh and obviously her troupe of professional cheerleaders tackling some crazy stunts in the background.
8 -- ARIANA FEAT IGGY
Next up Ariana Grande killed it as usual --- but this time things got even better when Iggy made her SECOND appearance of the night to join Ari for their smash hit "Problem."

And yes, Ariana still did our favorite dance.

7 -- KATY PERRY
Even though she's a bit busy, you know, headlining a world tour, leave it to our girl KP to entertain the masses from across the pond with her latest hit "Birthday". PS... how much do you want to be this girl...

Oh sorry, I was just daydreaming about what it would be like to take selfies with Katy Perry.
6 -- 5SOS
OMG wouldn't it be crazy if Kendall Jenner almost introduced 5SOS as One Direction... oh wait *awkward face*

Not to worry everyone, the guys didn't let that little hiccup get to them. They totally OWNED their first ever US televised performance as they rocked out to their hit, "She Looks So Perfect."
5- LORDE
And while to some MJ may be a tough act to follow, that didn't scare off the winner of Billboard's Best New Artist Award, 17 and a half year old Lorde who absolutely slayed during her first ever performance of "Tennis Court" ... check it out!

Speaking of Lorde, are we the only ones who felt like her look was a bit reminiscent of Natalie Portman's Black Swan Alter Ego ...? Don't hate guys, just pointing out the similarities.
4 -- MILEY
Welp, Miley and Lorde must have gotten the same wardrobe memo --- their looks yielded what we like to call a Battle of the Birds. But before you guys hate --- we're kind of obsessed with both these looks. And for Miley's performance, she was joined by friends and musicians The Flaming Lips --- who also joined in on the ridiculous wardrobe fun ... yes, that is a suit of human muscle .... for their AMAZING cover of the Beatles' classic, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds".

3 -- JASON DERULO
Next up we've got Jason Derulo --- and I think I speak for everyone when I say the only disappointing part of this routine was that he didn't take his shirt off.

2 -- JLO
JLO, before we even look at your performance of perfection .... WHAT IS YOUR SECRET. HOW DOES THIS GIRL DO IT? SHE DOES NOT AGE.
1 -- MICHAEL JACKSON
And let's finish this thing off with easily the most talked about performance of the night. This man needs no introduction. The one, the only, Michael Jackson.
