Adam Devine opened up the MTV Movie and TV Awards with a fiery performance…literally.
You know what they say in show biz! The show must go on…even if the stage catches fire.
From Hailee Steinfeld to Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine had a pretty spectacular opening performance for the MTV Movie Awards. Unfortunately though, the opening number didn’t go off as planned…or did it?
Early into the performance the stage caught fire, but like a true pro, the host continued on with the show – but not before almost cursing because he saw Hugh freaking Jackman sitting there in the audience. Key word: almost.
The sighting then turned into a musical number inspired by the ‘Logan’ star featuring Josh Gad, who was a bit reluctant to get up on stage.
I’m sure Hugh would’ve gladly stepped in to sing and dance if given the chance! Anywayy, shortly after Josh and Adam had a little discussion about Broadway on stage, the host made an announcement that he was searching for a Belle and lo and behold, here comes Hailee Steinfeld to the rescue!
Don’t start rolling your eyes because Emma Watson totally approved.
And last but not least, Rebel Wilson, who basically stole the opening number, made her appearance the Mrs. Potts and she was actually pretty amazing.
