The week of Adele’s 25 is finally here, and although we’ve only gotten ONE single prior to its release date… Right now we have your first listen of a new track titled “When We Were Young”
Adele recently teamed up with Tobais Jesso Jr. for the song which is featured on 25, AND you cannot miss this!
We got a glimpse of the upcoming track in a promotion for Adele’s appearance on 60 minutes Australia, which will be airing on Sunday night after her album, 25, drops THIS FRIDAY!!!
Ummmm… I actually can’t. RIP ME. Forever... But for real you guys, we are in for such a treat come Friday. Adele got all kinds on candid in the upcoming interview, revealing that there was a time in which she didn’t even believe in herself, ANDD talks about how she gets really nervous and scared because she doesn’t want to disappoint us, which seems totally understandable seeing that her last album was INSANLY epic… But as far as we can tell, 25 seems to be going pretty STRONG, already breaking VEVO’s record for the most viewed video in a 24 hour time period, even beating out our girl Taylor Swift!
Back to that new track “When We Were Young,’ Adele reached out to Tobais after falling in love with his track ‘Hollywood’ and obviously… He was down.
After the collaboration Adele had nothing but amazing things to say about this singer… She said QUOTE: Tobias is my favorite. We got on so amazingly well, he's such a nice guy. We wrote this song together called 'When We Were Young,' at the most insane house in L.A. on Phillip Glass' piano.
"When We Were Young's got a very '70s singer-songwriter vibe which I'm totally inspired by—that's also Tobias' vibe as well.
So we’ll have to wait until Friday to hear the FULL album, and that is basically what I’m living my life for at the moment. BUT I also CANNOT wait until Sunday night for this 60 minutes Australia, so we can dive a little bit deeper into Adele and her musical comeback!
