You never really know what you’re going to get at an Adele show, whether that be a surprise proposal, a ‘happy birthday’ straight from Adele, or a straight up twerk show.
Adele gave the performance of a lifetime during one of her shows at London’s O2 Arena over the weekend and no, I’m not talking about her killer vocals, sob-inducing lyrics or her stunning show theatricals. I’m talking about Adele shaking her thang in the air like she just don’t care, so I’ll let you guys see this one for yourself.
So if you couldn’t hear that, Adele herself was even in shock that she had just attempted to twerk, saying QUOTE, “Oh my god, did I just twerk? I think I just twerked!” And it gets even better when shortly after, she replies, “My bum could break my back, it’s so enormous.”
Did Adele just become our spirit animal? Gonna have to go with a solid YES on that one. But that wasn’t the only surprise Adele had for her fans that night. Before the show even began, one couple celebrating their wedding anniversary got to their seats before the show and were disappointed with a lack of a view, so Adele being Adele worked her magic…
The couple spoke to Mirror Celeb about their experience, saying QUOTE, “When we got to the seats we couldn't see the stage, so I tweeted the company we got the tickets off as well as Adele. In five minutes she had seen my tweet, got a guy from the O2 to move us to new amazing seats - then we got a shout out with her looking for us to make sure we were okay half way through!” also adding, “She's a pretty amazing person.”
