Adele graces us with her first performance in years, singing her new single “Hello” for a BBC special and we’ve got your first look right now on Clevver News!
The songstress that’s been causing more people to contact their ex’s than alcohol since 2008 just took to live television to remind us why.
FIRST FULL ASSET: We already know you’ve had the song on repeat because Adele is breaking records with her new hit “Hello” and although we know the girl can sing… Well she just gave her first live performance and needless to say, it was heart wrenching.
This was just ONE part of her 1 hour special on BBC alongside host Graham Norton. The special is set to air on November 20th, which is also the release date of her highly anticipated album, 25.
During the interview Adele revealed that she wasn’t positive she was going to return to music saying QUOTE: It was that thing of, do I or don't I want to go back to my music," she said. "Obviously I do, and I just wanted to make sure that everything was in place for me to do it, so I could do it properly."
She added, "I can't do anything else, this is all that I like doing."
Which makes us happy, because the past few years without her, haven’t been great…
She also told Graham that her privileges of tweeting herself… Are long gone… She told him that although she’s no longer a drinker, when Twitter first came out, she would drunk tweet her fans. Saying that now her management decided her tweets needed to go through two different people before going live… So she does write then, she’s just not allowed to tweet them out herself… Which I kind of love, that she got the privilege taken away, from interacting with fans so candidly…
We’re about to get a lot more of Adele so get mark you calendars because she's set to perform on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 21, appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Nov. 23, and the Today show on Nov. 25.
