Adele has got to be on Cloud 9 right now after winning not one, not two, but THREE Grammys this year!
Adele’s big win for Song of the Year for “Hello” came after her tribute to George Michael, so right off the bat she took the opportunity to apologize for briefly cursing and stopping the show during that performance, before going on to give thanks for the award…
Don’t worry Adele--you’re too real and to adorable to ever offend us. “Hello” beat out some serious competition for “Song of the Year”, with big hits Formation, Love Yourself, 7 Years, and I Took a Pill in Ibiza also in the running. It’s a huge honor and a very coveted award, which is probably why Adele was full of nerves as she gave thanks for the big win.
Of course, Adele wasn’t the only one who deserved credit for the award--her producer and co-writer on the song, Greg Surkin, stood by politely as Adele humbly thanked him for everything he did to produce “Hello” with her. , but when it came time for his turn to make a thank you speech, the Grammy’s rudely cut him off, causing everyone in the house to boo.

Umm, WTF, Grammys?! Just because he’s not as famous or recognizable as Adele, doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve to say something about his win, right?! And you cut him off as he was thanking his mom and dad, do you get double shame points for that!
