It was a big night for Adele and Chance the Rapper at this year’s Grammy’s, which means there were lots of other nominees going home empty handed…

Adele straight up dominated this year’s Grammy’s with FIVE huge wins for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, best pop vocal performance and Song of the Year!

Adele winning that many awards isn’t all that surprising and she’s certainly deserving of all of them, but it did mean she beat out Beyonce multiple times over. Lucky Bee wasn’t completely snubbed by the Grammys, though, because out of 9 nominations she still took home two awards herself--one for Best Music video for Formation, and the other for Best Urban Contemporary Album for Lemonade. And considering she completely slayed her performance while carrying twins, we’re sure she didn’t go home too upset.

Another artist who dominated almost all of his nominated categories was Chance the Rapper, thanks to his wins for Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, and Best Rap Performance. Even though Chance the Rapper dominated MOST of the rap-related categories, the Recording Academy still recognized Drake’s “Hotline Bling” as the Best Rap Song of the Year and Best Rap/Song Performance.

Best Pop Duo/Group Performance went to Twenty One Pilots for “Stressed Out”, meanwhile Best Dance Recording went to The Chainsmokers featuring Daya for “Don’t Let Me Down”.

And the late David Bowie posthumously swept up the rock categories with 4 Grammy’s for his final album, Blackstar, which made for a few bittersweet moments throughout the awards show, as the audience gave him a roaring ovation every time his name was called.
