Deputy Home Minister Shamsul Anuar Nasarah says the illegal activities of 'Ah Long' lenders are rife, because the citizens find it easier to get loans from them.
This compared to getting loans from the banks or financial institutions during the current economic climate.
He said this while responding to a question from Besut MP Che Mohamad Zulkifly on the government's efforts to curb 'Ah Long' activities, in the Dewan Rakyat today.
