The government is finalising the mechanism for the Employees Provident Fund flexible account, and will launch it next year.

Deputy Finance Minister I Ahmad Maslan said, this is to help members facing emergencies to ease their financial burden.

The flexible account will allow contributors to access their savings at any time regardless of their income levels.
