Umno supreme council member Ahmad Maslan has claimed that Umno members’ anger over the party joining hands with DAP in the coalition has subsided.

“I admit that there are still issues in the Perikatan Nasional states, but in Penang and Selangor, they (Umno members) are more understanding,” he said.

He expressed hope that the 5,800 Umno members in the Sungai Bakap state constituency will vote for Pakatan Harapan candidate Joohari Ariffin, come polling day on July 6.
