PKR central strategic director Akmal Nasir said he respects the decision made by the party’s election committee (JPP) and does not wish to prolong the issue.
The committee had earlier given Akmal a warning after receiving a memorandum urging them to refer Akmal to the disciplinary board.
Akmal’s losing opponent for the Johor Baru PKR chief, Richard Tan claimed that Akmal did not respect the party’s election process by showing members his candidate number at the polling centre on 30th Sept.
