Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the party will respect any decision MCA makes on whether to leave or remain in the coalition.
Later on Sunday, MCA party president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong announced at a press conference at the end of the party's 65th annual general assembly that the party's central committee has been authorised to pave the way for the dissolution of the coalition.
