Nothing says a friendship is officially over more than editing an ex-friend out of an old pic...
Social media and YouTube star Alissa Violet is going out of her way to make sure fans know that friendship with her best friend Tessa Brooks is officially over. The drama all started after Alissa’s longtime YouTube collaborator and rumored ex-boyfriend, Jake Paul, dramatically kicked her out of their house after accusing her of cheating on him on Twitter. After clapping back at Jake in a series of digs on Twitter, accusing him of cheating on her multiple times and calling him “manipulative”, Alissa went her separate way and cut ties with many of the friends she and Jake shared, including Tessa, in the process.
In the aftermath of all the drama, Tessa apparently chose to remain friends with Jake, which is what apparently lead to Alissa’s decision to make it perfectly clear to fans that she and Tessa are no longer BFFs..
Alissa posted a pic to Twitter that she had photoshopped Tessa out of, along with the caption QUOTE, “I am the facetune queen.” After fans commented on the pic, Tessa added QUOTE, “No hate, the pic is just better with me:)”.
Tessa didn’t respond to the tweets, but she did retweet her pal Erika Costell‘s tweet that read QUOTE, “I will never understand why ppl use their influence on social media for anything other than positivity.” Seeing that tweet, Alissa responded by writing QUOTE, "I mean if u had a group of ppl u thought would be there for u through everything, stab u in the back- u'd probably have a different opinion." She later followed that up with QUOTE, “Pick your friends wisely kids. Never know whose gonna backstab, subtweet and keep your coach purse”.
Talk about a healthy amount of awwwwwkard. But, as we all know, friendship breakups can be harder to deal with than romantic ones, so we really hope these girls can work it out and move forward without any more added drama. Or Coach purse stealing cuz that’s no joke...
