And to quote Seth and Amy’s words of wisdom, we can confirm that America has officially seen the light, and there IS a bud in front of it.
After previously releasing a short teaser featuring Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen prepping for their Super Bowl 50 Bud Light ad, the full Bud Light commercial has officially arrived. Amy and Seth appear in the ad as candidates campaigning for the Bud Light Party, dressed professionally and decked out in “Bud Light” pins, where they bring America together based on two things: Beer and Paul Rudd.
Seth’s speech also consists of quotes from Independence Day, as called out by Amy, and cameos in the commercial include Paul Rudd himself, along with Michael Pena. And if you didn’t get enough laughter from it here, the Bud Light Party’s official television debut will air on Sunday during the Super Bowl, so prepare yourselves for another wave of awesomeness.
