Drake, his “Hotline Bling” and his infamous dance moves have officially returned to get stuck in your head once more during his new T-Mobile Super Bowl commercial.
Trust me, we know the trouble it probably took you to finally get “Hotline Bling” out of your head, but maybe with the song’s new changes, it’ll be a little more tolerable… or maybe not.
Thanks to T-Mobile, who just released their ad for Super Bowl 50, we now get to relive watching the epically awkward Drake dance moves in all of his turtle-necking-Timberland glory, however the song might feature a few new changes. Check it out:
Halfway through the song, T-Mobile execs suggested he change up the lyrics to include their new T-Mobile restrictions, because like Drake said, he LOVES changes, you know, like that time he completely kept his cool when his girl no longer called him on his cell phone, started wearing less and going out more and started hanging around girls he’d never seen before. Yeah, TOTALLY cool with it.
Drake’s Super Bowl ad is the most recent to be released leading up to this Sunday’s festivities. Many other brands including Acura, Axe and Colgate have already released their commercials, and it has been reported that the average cost of a 30-second commercial slot averages at about $5 million this year.
But as much excitement as the Super Bowl commercials ring in, I’m personally excited to see Beyoncé and Coldplay SLAY the halftime show this year. But I want to know what you guys thought about Drake’s new game day ad and what you’re most looking forward to come Sunday, so get the conversation going right down here in the comments or you can tweet me @MiriamIsa.
