Former Umno leader Annuar Musa confirmed that the MACC had called him in to give an explanation on allegations that Perikatan Nasional chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin spent an excessive amount of funds in Sabah during the state election in 2020.

In a press conference today, the former Ketereh MP revealed that he was “very happy” to cooperate with the anti-graft body when they summoned him last week.

"I already gave a statement to the MACC last week. I am actually very relieved because once again the slander is beyond my control."
