DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has shot down a proposal by party veteran Lim Kit Siang for Muda to merge with DAP.

Loke said the party will instead focus on strengthening its own youth wing.

"That (suggestion) is Lim's personal opinion. We have no such decision and such planning. Our focus is to strengthen our own party," he said at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur last night.
