Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told Dewan Rakyat today that the high-income group (T20) will not receive electricity subsidies or haj financial assistance.
He mentioned that the Main Database (PADU) will manage the distribution of subsidies to eligible groups.
Anwar emphasised that only the T20, with larger houses, will not be eligible for electricity subsidies.
He clarified that this exclusion aims to facilitate a more targeted subsidy distribution system through PADU.
