Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has denied claims that the subsidy rationalisation plan was like being Robin Hood, taking money from the rich and giving it to the poor.
Anwar pointed out that Malaysia is among the countries providing the highest amount of subsidies while implementing the lowest tax rates.
He said the government is only seeking for the T15 to pay the cost price and was not getting additional payment.
