PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has called on Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad to clarify the appointment of Latheefa Koya as the new MACC chief commissioner.
According to Anwar, Mahathir needs to explain why the Cabinet was not informed, that the appointment was allegedly not in line with the MACC Act and also violated the Pakatan Harapan election manifesto.
Anwar said he was only aware of the appointment, after the public announcement.
