PKR's Wangsa Maju MP Tan Yee Kew has signed an online petition calling for the resignation of Latheefa Koya as the MACC chief.
Speaking to Malaysiakini, Tan also urged others in Harapan, as well as its supporters to sign the petition and make their stand clear.
Meanwhile, PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has called on Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad to clarify the appointment of Latheefa.
According to Anwar, Mahathir needs to explain why the Cabinet was not informed, that the appointment was allegedly not in line with the MACC Act and also violated the Pakatan Harapan election manifesto.
