Apple Unveils NEW iPhone 7 Details & Info

The highly anticipated Apple announcement of the new iPhone 7 has just been released today, and once you hear all this fancy tech talk, you’re gonna wanna start saving up.
So if you are anyone who is ANYONE, you’ve probably been wondering why the Apple gods STILL have not created a waterproof phone… but, my friends, the wait is finally over.
Just minutes before the new iPhone 7 details went public following the Apple Keynote event in San Francisco this morning, the new details of the phone were completely upstaged and leaked… by their own Twitter account, that is.
Tim was reportedly right in the middle of the iPhone debut presentation but had not yet shown the device when tweets from Apple’s verified account began rolling out… so without knowing any details, Twitter did share this: Water resistant, new camera, stereo speakers, longer battery life. BOOM.
But now that the presentation IS over, and all the details have been revealed, let’s talk tech! Today’s presentation covered many new features and improvements to Apple, including announcing the partnership with Carpool Karaoke, as seen in the intro featuring Tim and James Corden, updates to Apple Music, a revamp of the app store, the release of a brand new Apple-only game, Mario Run (yes, like Super Mario Brothers), and a completely revamped Apple Watch made just for running.
But let’s be real, the reason why we’re all here just so happens to be the new iPhone 7. In the sleekest design yet and what Tim described as the “best iPhone yet,” the first of many features he mentioned was the phone’s new and improved exterior.
The 7 comes in a high-gloss jet black finish (but for those of you who love your options, black, silver, gold, rose gold are also available), and you’ll also notice a redesigned force-sensitive home button that lets you do different actions with different types of touch. And for those of you who’ve dropped your phone in the toilet, pool and/or an infortunate 2 inches of water at some point in your iPhone life, a water-resistant casing is actually happening people!
A brand new camera with a second lens will allow for wide-angle and telephoto shots, and brand new stereo-sounding speakers are another new feature. And speaking of bumping those tunes at an all new decibel, Apple is not only including a pair of lightning headphones, but an adapter to use our now-old-timey headphones. The new wireless headphones called Apple AirPods, can sense when they are put in your ear, and will most definitely be added to the list of items I will lose at some point.
Other little gems about the new 7 include a longer battery life (THANK THE GOOD LAWDDD), bigger storage space and another version of the phone, the 7 PLUS. So I’ll give you a minute to pick your jaw back up off the ground after hearing all the epicness of the new iPhone… but before you get too excited, you may want to start saving up that dough as the iPhone 7 is set to sell for $649 and the 7 Plus will be $769.
