Ariana Grande Reveals Plans For Social Media BREAK & Says Promoting Her Music In The Past Destroyed Her Mental Health
Ariana Grande has revealed that she will be taking a break from social media.
Honestly, social media can be exhausting and sometimes people are rude and disrespectful.
Pete Davidson made headlines yesterday after wiping his Instagram clean following drama from a comment he made underneath a photo of Ariana and her late grandfather. He then took to his instastories to explain saying QUOTE, “no there’s nothing wrong. no nothing happened. no there’s nothing cryptic about anyhting. i just don’t wanna be on instagram anymore. or on any social media platform. the internet is an evil place and it doesn’t make me feel good.” He futher explained his Insta purge by writing QUOTE, “why should I spend any time of negative energy when my real life is f*cking lit. the fact that I even have to say this proves my point. i love you all and i’m sure i’ll be back at some point.” Ariana has now followed suit by first turning off the commenting feature on her Instagram. One fan noticed that Ariana was back on Snapchat and tweeted, “moonlightbae has made a return ! pic.twitter.com/TCUQYNAa91” and Ari replied saying, “yeh ! i’m prolly gonna post on der for a little while & take a breather from twitter & ig for a little. just sometimes can’t help but bump into some negative shit that really can bum u out and it’s not worth it honestly. promised i’d always tell you. i love u sm ! be well & happy”
Another fan tweeted “she doesn't promote as much as she used too and i dont mind. But the other girls are on her neck about it. Even if she doesn't promote the song is doing very well.”
To this Ariana replied saying, “bc it destroyed my mental health and was horrible for me. i don’t remember anything ab those years of my life and am doing so much better now. career wise and health wise. stop coming for me and my team when i’ve never been better literally in any department. LITERALLY.” Well Ari’s album Sweetener is set for release August 17, so Arianators do your part and spread the word.
