Ariana Grande's Latest Tweets Reveal Even MORE Music Is On Its Way

Ari’s new song may bring on the ZZZZZ’s… but it’s not what you think.
After the mega success of Ariana’s comeback single, “No Tears Left To Cry” she’s teasing a second song. On Saturday Ari was feeling some type of way and tweeted “you’re such a dream to me”. Fans weren’t sure if this was simply a heartfelt expression or something more. But just 4 minutes later she tweeted the letters “r.e.m.” and we went into full speculation mode. Ari tweeted these 3 letters upside down… similar to “No Tears Left to Cry”. And that, my friends, is how Ariana revealed the title of her second track.
After a quick Google search we’re reminded that REM sleep is “a kind of sleep that occurs at intervals during the night and is characterized by rapid eye movements, more dreaming and bodily movement, and faster pulse and breathing.” Turns out Ariana Googled it too, cuz she posted this exact definition on her Insta story.
Before we had time to theorize what this will mean for her song, Ariana hit us with some lyrics- confirming this is in fact a new track. The tweet read, “Last night… boy I met you… yea… when I was sleeeeeep… you’re such a dream to me.” She followed that up with another teaser, “and it was on a day like this… yeah...if you can belieeeeve… if you can believe… you’re such a dream to me.” Ari wrapped up the cryptic tweets by tweeting 3 cloud emojis which led fans to speculate that the song was coming in three days. One fan tweeted Ari writing “#3daysuntilREM” and she responded writing, “Not quite yet. U know I can’t resisssst sum times. I love u.”
As of now the single’s drop date is still TBD. However, some think she may premiere the song May 1st when does an hour long takeover of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. So at this point we literally know nothing else about this track so it’s time to start the hypothesizing. “R.E.M.” has to be about Mac, right? Or is there another guy in her life? One of her pups? Is this a lullaby? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
